Bianca Grobbelaar from Rest Established collaborated with a wood workshop in Paarl to create these beautiful pieces inspired by the artwork of J.H Pierneef. It forms part of a limited edition (only 50 pieces) and every piece is individually engraved with the limited edition number on the front.

Linocut

The harbour in Hermanus in the Western Cape was one of the themes of Pierneef’s station panels in Johannesburg. The linocut was made from the whale watching point in a north-easterly direction, with Hangklip visible in the background.
Prints: Reprinted by the magazine Lantern in the form of a lithograph, with the signature in silver print.
