Bianca Grobbelaar from Rest Established has always admired South African art, especially Jacob Hendrik Pierneef’s works.
Her vision is to make art functional and accessible to the general public and to educate them on the masters of South African art.
The product range has been developed from artworks from the La Motte collection in a way that honours the original pieces and brings them alive in a new context.
Rest Established collaborated with FOUND Collection, Love that space, and Zuyda van Dyk Bespoke Jewellery.
Together they created clothing, furniture, jewellery, and textile items, inspired by Pierneef’s paintings and linocuts.
